Overview

In addition to the Physical Therapist responsibilities, the Clinical Director working directly under the Regional Director of Operations, will focus on optimization of day-to-day clinical operations and ensure they are accomplished consistent with Pair & Marotta policy and procedures. The Clinical Director will be responsible for upholding the core values of Pair & Marotta and overall patient and employee satisfaction. The Clinical Director will oversee the scheduling of patients, clinic staff and coordinate staff vacations and staff scheduling consistent with HR policy and procedures. The Clinical Director will provide feedback to the RDO regarding the staff and clinical operations in accordance with standards set by corporate management.

Responsibilities

CD duties to include: Supervises and acts as a clinical resource to Pair & Marotta staff, both clinical and administrative. Monitor schedule for new patients on appropriate PT schedules for evaluations. Work with RDO, SMA, and PCCs to maintain evaluation load and schedule compliance to meet company standards and requirements. Generation of statistical reports, Analysis, and data synthesis of provided statistics in dashboard, development, and implementation of plans based on data synthesis. Daily monitoring of patient visits, and cancellations, and analysis of daily, weekly, monthly trends. Handle all patient issues, including complaints, incidents, and employee/patient problems. Participate in monthly meetings with the COO to review production reports. Participates in ongoing weekly meetings with RDO, biweekly regional meetings conveying the clinic condition and needs. Performing biweekly staff meetings and weekly PCC meetings, generating meeting notes. Maintains friendly, cordial relations with all clients and employees; maintains a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner that results in a positive work relationship with customers, co-workers, and managers. Conducts patient chart audits to ensure that appropriate documentation guidelines are being followed and in compliance with Medicare law. Monitors compliance with Quality Assurance Program guidelines and updates and reviews as necessary. Addresses any quality and/or procedural issues with health care provider staff. Complete staff timesheets for payroll, scheduling, and time-off request, responsible for processing and sending PTO or other requests to Human Resources/Payroll. Participates in annual performance reviews of all clinical personnel and provides feedback to HRM to assist in development and training in accordance with Pair & Marotta values. Participates in Company in-services and staff meetings, as necessary. Responsible for scheduling of clinical in-services according to the needs of the Company?s staff to ensure compliance with appropriate delivery of care standards, and awareness of advances and developments in treatment protocols in each discipline offered by Pair & Marotta .. Ensures that clinical equipment is maintained in adequate working order and schedules maintenance. On a regular and continuous basis, exercises clinical judgment and assumes responsibility for decisions, consequences, and results of said judgments. This position is also expected to see patients as required to meet the scheduling requirements of Pair & Marotta. Conducting interviews, hiring, and training of PT techs. Assistance in onboarding and training new PTs into the clinic. Perform other duties as assigned by upper management. Existing PT duties include: Provide patient treatment according to referral and visit volume demands. Monitor all patient discharges in alignment with Company standards of care. Ensure every patient receives a thorough, comprehensive, and customized physical therapy regimen, while receiving a unique experience. Provide a written and hands-on evaluation and immediate treatment of incoming patient conditions to determine appropriate physical treatment programs. Ongoing scheduling of patients to ensure fluid treatment progression. Develop and implement Physical Therapy treatment programs based on each patient's particular needs. Assist patients with all phases of Physical Therapy treatment and techniques to include: exercise instruction (both in-clinic and take-home instruction) manual therapy techniques modalities activities of daily living functional/total body progressions Discuss treatment with patients and record patient conditions and responses to treatments in the patient's medical record after each visit. Complete daily patient care notes, progress notes, discharge notes, and other required forms as requested by treating physicians, rehab nurses or insurance companies. Ensure daily treatment notes for all patients are complete prior to end of day. Provide continuous communication with referring physicians and Physical Therapy Assistants regarding re-evaluation findings to continually modify and update treatment programs. Operate and apply knowledge of standard physical therapy equipment. Accurately document treatments rendered in the appropriate patient?s medical record. Ensure billing amounts on daily notes match treatment time and that all units of treatment are accounted for. Ensure billing is accurate and complete prior to signing off on the daily note in accordance with Company policy, state practice act, and federal regulations, including but not limited to HIPAA, Medicare and Medicaid. Review and co-sign notes of all patients treated by auxiliary personnel under PT?s direct supervision. Ensure all patients are discharged with a positive outcome and experience or have been proactively referred to the next step to address limitations and/or complaints originally presented. Follow-up with discharged patients, maintaining Company?s service standards.
